Fundamentals of Recurve Target Archery,
2nd Edition
OUT OF PRINT UNTIL SPRING 2011
This book presents a way to learn
to shoot a recurve bow. It gives you not only what is
needed, but a way to learn it. Using the principles of
Total Archery by Kisik Lee, it expands and discusses those
elements important for any archer starting out. Like the
1st Edition, this book provides the details and detailed
discussion left out of ‘beginner’ books.
This Second Edition is completely
revised and updated for the shooting technique used by top
competitors – the Biomechanically Efficient Shooting
Technique (or BEST). Regardless of where you are in your
shooting – someone new to the sport or someone who has
shot for a while, there is information that can help you
either learn or improve.
The book is richly illustrated,
intended for both those who want to shoot for fun and
those who seriously want to learn.
Teachers/instructors/coaches can also use it as a
reference on the details of shooting technique and as a
method of teaching students.
